I was a little animal still learning the ways of civilization. I also had an aunt who is super irritable. She has a crazy temper. When I used to be around her, which was quite often, and be smack-smack-smacking away on some food, she’d be like, “G-Sh- mother-fvvdgnoR*&%&%…STOP SMACKING YOUR FOOD!” At the time I would think, “God, you’re super mean.”, but now I’m kind of thankful for it because I learned some manners. People consume in the most annoying ways. Sometimes it’s pretty funny though.

These people I work with have the weirdest ways of drinking. This one person usually has one of those sports bottles with the adjustable cap at the top filled with water or whatever.

When he takes a sip he first clasps the bottle so you hear the plastic give and crack. Then the water goes into his mouth and makes a mixture of a gulping and sucking sound. Then there’s a pause. You’re like, “Wow okay…he must be thirsty, but whatever.”, but it’s not over folks! He swallows his water and then a second later goes, “AHHHHHHH….” Every. God. Damn. Time. It’s like he was fucking doing landscaping all day and hasn’t been able to take a drink of water in hours.

This other person LOVES coffee. Homeboy drinks coffee all day, everyday. It’s pretty intense. You gotta’ imagine that his blood is thick with caffeine and looks like really dirty oil. But whatever…I ain’t hatin’. I enjoy a cup of joe every once in a while. Anyway, like I said, he drinks coffee all day. It’s usually a hot cup.

As you might know, you can’t gulp the stuff like our friend above. You have to drink it slooowwlly so as not to burn your mouth. But here’s the kicker. When he take a sip he usually blows, “WWOOOOOOSSSSHHHHH…” and then slups the hell out of it…”SSLLLLLLLUURRRRRRRRPP.” Every. God. Damn. Time. He just did it. I swear to god.Brian Martínezhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15839547238619565579noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8617627327196433080.post-9721196346869375312008-03-07T16:02:00.001-08:002008-03-07T16:02:38.037-08:00FartBrian Martínezhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15839547238619565579noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8617627327196433080.post-55193191877306527032008-03-07T15:45:00.001-08:002008-03-07T15:45:28.976-08:00Fuck you!And your atom bomb!Brian Martínezhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15839547238619565579noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8617627327196433080.post-48492137150496038072007-10-10T09:50:00.001-07:002007-10-10T09:50:51.526-07:00Oil-aw man,
i've got people coming up to me
from all over
saying' they've got
oil coming out their pores,
dripping from behind their ears,
oil in their food!,
oil between their toes,
oil stuck under their fingernails!
a tiny bit in their cars,
a little to smooth out their eyebrows
and style their hair,
oil in their crack pipes!
oil in their beers!
oil stuck between their teeth!
they've got huge oil boogers too!
oil on their cocks!
oil in their pussies!
and rubbed all over assholes
because america's politicians and their best friends and fiends have been FUCKING them!
smearing oil everywhere and anywhere
fucking them whereever
whenever!
however!
forever? And the ride goes up and down and around and around and it has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud. And it's fun - for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question; is this real? Or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, and they say, "Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because... this is just a ride."

-Bill HicksBrian Martínezhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15839547238619565579noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8617627327196433080.post-90631876035161806252007-06-18T11:58:00.000-07:002007-06-18T11:59:48.746-07:006.23.07

Brian Martínezhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15839547238619565579noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8617627327196433080.post-82328003976739623582007-06-13T13:50:00.000-07:002007-06-14T13:28:14.632-07:00Retirement-Some life events are completely foreign to me like retirement, for instance. Someone retired today from where I work. Imagine it. Imagine you’ve been working for over forty years. Imagine you decided to work at least half of those forty years at one place. And then one day along that road you decide you’re finished. You don’t have to do what you’re doing to make a living anymore. You get to hang out for the rest of your life. And god knows how long you actually get to do that because you’re “getting up there”. But regardless, everyone at the place you work at decides that they should have a party in your honor. They order catered food and give everyone conservatively poured glasses of champagne. Everyone is in good spirits until the people close to you over all those years give speeches of their memories of you and then raise their glasses, and everyone else raises theirs too and drinks. Everyone takes a sip. More people come up, breaking down halfway through what they need to say. They say everything quickly and shudder. They cry. They’ll miss you, they say. They love you, they say. They thrived off you, they say. They depended on you. You were there for them when they needed you even if it wasn’t work related. But you’re going and you’re not coming back. You’re going to rest your body because it’s been working for so damn long. Anyway, everyone hates to say “Goodbye”, so they don’t. You just go, go, go and spin, spin, spin until you’re finished. All the while Life continues.
